A look at the run-down of programmes at the Shiloh 2011 reveals that the incident would have occurred at the healing school which as the official flyer claimed, is meant to deliver people from sicknesses and oppression. How come Bishop Oyedepo could not deliver this girl? Why did he turn oppressor while he claimed to be delivering people from oppression? You could see the sickness in the congregation was still there and very rife. This is evident in the fact that rather than condemn this evil action, they gave a rousing acceptance with their shameful shouts of approval.
If he was out to deliver people, why did he leave that girl to rot in hell? What happened to having mercy on the ignorant? Why did he rush into giving judgement and condemning her to hell? How many times have these people failed to live up to what they preach. That little incident revealed how they go about living fake lives while their followers trn them to demi-gods. God would not allow His prophet do such an evil act, he would shield him from such silly display of anger.
I only wish he did this in one of his numerous business centres (do you still call them churches?) scattered all around Europe and America. Someone should take this man up on this public assault and female battery. Where are those who groups who fight for women rights? Unfortunately, they are the Nigerian untouchables.
Surely there is God, and He doesn’t approve of the conduct of Bishop Oyedepo and He will judge between the girl and this man.

“God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie.” (2 Thess. 2:11)

Another universal principle comes to fore here; ‘the universal Goodness of God.’ This mantra is coming under fire here as God is getting painted in bad colours. Two situations arise. Either this is actually not the God that we know- The One worthy of Praise and worship; or this ascription isn’t true- i.e the Bible is false. As regards the forbidden fruit, God said: “In the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Gen. 2:17) But the serpent said, “Ye shall not surely die.” (3:4) Satan’s statement proved true, God’s statement proved untrue. So, according to the Bible, the first truth told to man was from the devil, and the first lie told to man was from God. This can’t be true. We apply the above inductive logic again. Nonetheless, we are led to the irrefutable conclusion that the one whom Christians worship, condole lies, especially if it is to spread the message.
Dean Milman, in his “History of Christianity” says: “It was admitted and avowed that to deceive into Christianity was so valuable a service as to hallow deceit itself.” Paul was do deceptive and would even boast of it. He says: “Being crafty, I caught you with guile.” (2 Cor. 12:16) “Unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews.” (1 Cor. 9:20) “I am made all things to all men.” (1 Cor. 9:22) “For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory, why yet am I also judged as a sinner?” (Rom. 3:7)

Dr. Lardner says: “Christians of all sorts were guilty of this fraud.”

Bishop Fell writes: “In the first ages of the church, so extensive was the license of forging, so credulous were the people in believing that the evidence of transactions was grievously obscured.”

M. Daille, one of the most distinguished of French Protestants, says: “For a good end they made no scruple to forge whole books.”

Dr. Gieseler says they “quieted their conscience respecting the forgery with the idea of their good intention.”

Dr. Priestley says they “thought it innocent and commendable to lie for the sake of truth.”

Scaliger says: “They distrusted the success of Christ’s kingdom without the aid of lying.”

Chapter 32 of the Twelfth Book of Eusebius’s Evangelical Preparation bears this significant title: “How far it may be proper to use falsehood as a medicine, and for the benefit of those who require to be deceived.” Bishop Heliodorus affirms that a “falsehood is a good thing when it aids the speaker and does no harm to the hearers.” Synesius, another early Christian bishop, writes: “The people are desirous of being deceived; we cannot act otherwise with them.” That is what most modern theologians think.

With Dr. Thomas Burnett, they believe that “Too much light is hurtful to weak eyes.” That the methods employed in establishing the church are still used in perpetuating its power, a glance at the so-called Christian literature of the day will suffice to show. Read the works of our sectarian publishers, examine the volumes that compose our Sunday-school libraries, peruse our religious papers and periodicals, and you will see that age has but confirmed this habit formed in infancy. Every church dogma is a lie; and based upon lies, the church depends upon fraud for its support. The work of its ministers is not to discover and promulgate truths, but to invent and disseminate falsehoods. In the words of Isaiah (as they claim), they well might say: “We have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves.”

The church offers a premium on falsehood, and imposes a punishment for truthfulness. With a bribe in one hand and a club in the other, she has sought to prolong her sway. The allurements of the one and the fear of the other have filled the world with hypocrisy. In our halls of Congress, in the editorial sanctum, in the professor’s chair, behind the counter, in the workshop, at the fireside, everywhere, we find men professing to believe what they know to be false, or wearing the seal of silence on their lips, while rank imposture stalks abroad and truth is trampled in the mire before them.

Joseph Wheless (1930) wrote: “The forgery of pious documents of every imaginable character was among the most constant and zealous activities of the holy propagandists of the Christian Faith, from the beginning to the critical era when forgeries were no longer possible or profitable.”

Didn’t the Bible itself say: “Only lies have our fathers handed down to us, emptiness in which there is nothing of any avail!” Jeremiah 16.19 and “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” 2 Thessalonians 2.11

Celsus, one of the foremost thinkers of his age had attacked the lies of Christianity and he paid dearly for it. His entire book collection was destroyed by the Christian faithfuls. He had said in ‘On The True Doctrine’, c178 AD: “Clearly the Christians have used … myths … in fabricating the story of Jesus’ birth … It is clear to me that the writings of the Christians are a lie and that your fables are not well-enough constructed to conceal this monstrous fiction.”

St Jerome, c. 380 admits: “To refute the opposer … one argues as one pleases, saying one thing while one means another … Origen, Eusebius [et al] write at great length … Sometimes it is true, they are compelled to say not what they think but what is useful.” He also said: “It is usual for the sacred historian to conform himself to the generally accepted opinion of the masses in his time.” (P.L., XXVI, 98; XXIV, 855). Don’t we still see this playing out today when the Church bends its rules to conform with new and popular views? At another time, he concurred: “There is nothing so easy as by sheer volubility to deceive a common crowd or an uneducated congregation.” (Epistle to Nepotian, Lii, 8.) And I personally view this as the major predicament of the modern Christian.

And St Augustine acts out a script from a horror movie. He narrates to us: “I was already Bishop of Hippo, when I went into Ethiopia with some servants of Christ there to preach the Gospel. In this country we saw many men and women without heads, who had two great eyes in their breasts; and in countries still more southly, we saw people who had but one eye in their foreheads.” (Sermon 37; quoted in Taylor, Syntagma, 52; Diegesis, 271; Doane, Bible Myths, 437.)

It is generally well-known that most of the texts in both the Hebrew bible and the New Testament were forged in the names of their authors to give them authority. This merely helped others recognise ‘the higher truths’ presented to them. Who could argue with Solomon, say, or Apostles of the Lord?

John Chrysostom, 5th century theologian and bishop of Constantinople said: “Do you see the advantage of deceit? …For great is the value of deceit, provided it be not introduced with a mischievous intention. In fact action of this kind ought not to be called deceit, but rather a kind of good management, cleverness and skill, capable of finding out ways where resources fail, and making up for the defects of the mind …And often it is necessary to deceive, and to do the greatest benefits by means of this device, whereas he who has gone by a straight course has done great mischief to the person whom he has not deceived.” (Chrysostom, Treatise On The Priesthood, Book 1)

The art of Christian forgery reached its peak in the 5th and 6th centuries. Faustus, a Manichaean and sworn enemy of St. Augustine said: “Many things have been inserted by our ancestors in the speeches of our Lord which, though put forth under his name, agree not with his faith; especially since as already it has been often proved these things were written not by Christ, nor [by] his apostles, but a long while after their assumption, by I know not what sort of half Jews, not even agreeing with themselves, who made up their tale out of reports and opinions merely, and yet, fathering the whole upon the names of the apostles of the Lord or on those who were supposed to follow the apostles, they maliciously pretended that they had written their lies and conceits according to them.”

This took a frightening dimension with the conquests of Europe and the Middle East. Acharya S, said in ‘The Christ Conspiracy’: ‘ The Church forgery mill did not limit itself to mere writings
but for centuries cranked out thousands of phony “relics” of its “Lord,” “Apostles” and “Saints” There were at least .26 ‘authentic’ burial shrouds (of Jesus) scattered throughout the abbeys of
Europe, of which the Shroud of Turin is just one. At one point, a number of churches claimed the one foreskin of Jesus, and there were enough splinters of the “True Cross” that Calvin said the amount of wood would make “a full load for a good ship.”

Ignatius Loyola (1491-1556), the founder of the militant Jesuits Order wrote: “We should always be disposed to believe that which appears to us to be white is really black, if the hierarchy of the church so decides.”

Martin Luther, the reformer just couldn’t get around the lie debacle too. He wrote privately: “What harm would it do, if a man told a good strong lie for the sake of the good and for the Christian church … a lie out of necessity, a useful lie, a helpful lie, such lies would not be against God, he would accept them.” (Cited by his secretary, in a letter in Max Lenz, ed., /Briefwechsel Landgraf Phillips des Grossmüthigen von Hessen mit Bucer/, vol. I.)

Michael Alfred “Mike” Warnke of Evansville, Indiana is a Christian evangelist and comedian. With the success of his books and recordings, Warnke became one of evangelical Christianity’s best-known experts on the subject of Satanism before his claims of having been a Satanist high priest were debunked in 1991 by the magazine, Cornerstone.

Quite recently, the Pope chose to canonize Juan Diego, supposedly a sixteenth century Mexican Indian who had the good fortune to have the Blessed Virgin (in the guise of ‘Our Lady of Guadeloupe’) impress her own image onto his cloak. Commenting David Brading, Professor of Mexican History at Cambridge University said: “When the Pope canonises Juan Diego, he will have elevated to sainthood the hero of a religious work of fiction.” (The Times, 31 June 2002).
This same edition of Time Magazine continued: ‘An interview with the man given the task in 1947 of restoring Diego’s cloak, on which an image of the Virgin appeared, revealed that the image was not a miracle. Instead, he said, it had been painted on it.

New Testament scholar Bart Ehrman, in addressing the issue of early Christian forgeries, writes that there is a history of “lies and deception in the history of the Christian religion” and “irony in the fact that lies and deception have historically been used to establish the ‘truth.’” It is beyond contestation, as he points out in his recent book, ‘Forged’ (2011) that pious Christians practiced deceit on a large scale.
So, use your intuition!

Of course a look at the goals of the early Church reveals a striking similarity to the goals of the “Church” today: The ultimate goal of the church was to establish itself as true and, of course, to show that all other religions were, as a consequence, false. It however is to be noted, that Moshay isn’t alone in this crusade. He has ancestors and also some modern emulators. While some take it upon themselves to bring into disrepute another religion, some have made it the basis for disseminating the message of Christianity. Leading spokespersons appear to have had no qualms about lying in order to promote the faith, to practice deception in order to establish the truth.

You should have been aware by now, that this ignoble cause started with no other than the number one sworn enemy of Jesus, Saul who later became Paul. For a later discussion, it has to be pointed out that the paganistic infusion into the pure doctrine of Jesus came about from the evil works of this man. The Pauline church it was, that brought the 3 god-heads of the trinity into the message of Jesus.

Ergun Caner was the President of Liberty University’s seminary in the USA. His major point of Christian call is this thrilling past of being born into a Turkish Muslim family. He was being revved up for Jihad and hated Christians and America with passion. Then out of the blues, Jesus visited him and lo and behold, he leads this huge fundamentalist Christian seminary today. This occurred also with the conversion of his entire family. The line sounds familiar? LOL! He even claims like our G.J.O.Moshay guy to be an expert on Islam haven debated a lot of muslim clerics. The only difference is that he is known, Moshay is non existent. The actual fact about Caner is that he was born in Sweden to a Muslim father and a Lutheran Christian mum. He was moved to Ohio, USA by his dad when he was 4 years old. Shortly after this, they divorced and the mother got full custody. He converted to Christianity in his teens. Case closed! Hey! Wait a minute. But he could still be an expert on Islam. Well, this expert doesn’t know the difference between the Shahadah of the Muslims and prayer. Remember Moshay claiming that Allah is the name of the moon god worshipped in Arabia pre-Islam? This however didn’t stop the Arlington Baptist College from appointing him Professor of theology and church history, as well as Provost and Vice Chairman of the Christian institute. This disgraced pathological liar has authored books on Islam and he has a partner in crime in his brother Emir Caner.

So what could have informed these categorical lies by supposed ‘men of God’? Lying is universally held as being morally bad such that it is only attributed to people of disrepute. So when religious leaders lie, and even see it as being rewarding before the God they serve, it simply implies that something is methodically wrong. Let’s take a cursory look at the faith book of Christianity, the bible. What has it got to say about lying?

This arrant nonsense called ‘Who is this Allah?’ has had detailed refutations made for it so it isn’t my intent to do that here. Plus space wouldn’t even allow me do justice to that. My point of stay is the character called G.J.O Moshay. This faceless individual collected baseless views about Islam, and quite foolishly muddled up his arguments; all in a bid to paint Islam polytheistic. I’ve always insisted that Christianity is both paganistic and polytheistic. The silliest thing about the book is its author. No one knows him. He only claims to be ‘a Nigerian, from the mainly Muslim Northern part of the country.’ A cursory look however reveals a multitude of such assertions including some claiming to be kids of prominent Muslim rulers. However, not one of them has been acknowledged by the sane public. While it isn’t any new writing under pen names (George Orwell of the ‘Animal Farm’ fame springs to mind), it is however childish to hide under the well known literary concept to peddle falsehood. This is even more important when those accused have debunked your lies and even called you out for a debate.

A Muslim writer, Yusuf Mabera, author of ‘Allah is the Creator’, a sound rebuttal for the devilish book is known to have challenged the being called G.J.O.Moshay to an open debate. He never showed up. Maybe with the advent of the internet this will change. So I’m calling him out today also. Respond to my invitation, and let’s see what you have. If this Moshay thing keeps existing in the imagination of himself and his followers, then methinks we should view every propagator of this evil piece as being deluded, foolish and not worthy of attention.

The Christian way as referred to above is the way of falsehood. Christian apologetics and proselytism feeds fat on lies. This is not a problem in the moral system of Christianity as the ‘top dog’ of the faith, Paul himself confessed to his own lewd ways. He said: “For if the truth of God hath more abounded by my lie unto his glory, why yet am I also adjudged a sinner?” Romans 3/7. Call this an hypothetical statement if you wish, but how do describe this; “Being crafty, I caught you with guile.” (2 Cor. 12:16). Or this; “Unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews.” (1 Cor. 9:20). And this; “I am made all things to all men.” (1 Cor. 9:22) “Little wonder then that his protégés have carried on with this evil way in more daring forms. But lies don’t last. And liars sure need good memory. Unfortunately for them, their too short memory made them mix up points thereby coming up with a contraption of contradictions called the bible.

Easily, anyone conversant with Christian rhetoric will remember the story of the Egyptian woman who converted to Christianity. She did this with her two daughters. But her Muslim husband got mad at this, killed her and the kids, and then buried them. A man in shiny white clothes would come around to feed them. This continued until they were found alive deep down in the soil. This was reported on National TV. Don’t ask me what National TV as the liar who concocted the fable couldn’t name it.

While it may sound incredulous that religious people lie, it isn’t any big deal to the Christian preacher. Countless such evil accounts of deceit exist. Other such intriguing lies by modern Christians include but not limited to:

• The Missionary who was protected from murderous attackers by the miraculous appearance of 26 armed guards in the jungle of Africa?

• Diane, the young Christian university student who prayed for protection while walking home late one night so was saved by two angels who kept her safe from rape.

• The Christians forbidden by the city’s Muslims to celebrate Christmas in Meulaboh, Indonesia but instead gathered on a high hill nearby and so were spared from the tsunami that wiped out the city.

• The story of three small Indonesian Christian islands that were raised three metres above sea level by the tsunami thus spared, while it wiped out the large adjoining Muslim island.

• In the India, “…in the middle of the night prior to the earthquake, a prophet at the (Christian) training center on Rameswaram was awakened and met by the angel of death. The angel said that he was going to destroy the island of Rameswaram. The prophet called the elders of the church together to pray against this declaration. They didn’t know what would happen but they prayed through the night. In the morning the quake occurred and the wave began to work its devastation. Sri Lanka, mere miles away, was inundated, however, the island of Rameswaram was untouched to the degree that they didn’t even lose a chicken. The training center is also untouched…”

Do we still have to talk about the fake miracles we see on TV?

Becoming Christian based on these lies is like climbing a mountain to find a lie, then digging a grave to bury one. For the truth is meant to be told, never to be sold. I am not holding brief for Islam or the Muslims, but I have an obligation to call a spade a spade. G.J.O. Moshay is a lie, his book is a lie, so also is what he claims to believe in; Christianity.

Is he pleased with what they did to him? Then they must be lucky for they have earned his pleasure.

How could iron come close to him and penetrate him and wound him?

How could the hands of his enemies reach him when they struck the back of his head?

Was the Messiah brought back to life or is the one who revived him another god?

What a strange grave it is that could contain a god. What is even stranger is that a womb could contain him,

Where he remained for nine months, nourished from blood,

Then he emerged from the vagina as a tiny baby, opening his mouth and seeking the breast,

Eating and drinking, with the inevitable consequences thereof. Is that a god?

Exalted be Allaah above the fabrications of the Christians. He will question them all about the lies they told.

O worshippers of the cross, for what reason is that thing (the cross) venerated?

Rationally speaking, it should be broken and burned.

If god was crucified upon it by force and his hands nailed to it,

Then the thing used for that purpose should be cursed and trampled upon, not kissed when you see it.

How can the Lord of the Worlds be humiliated on it, then you go and worship it?

Then you are the enemies of that god, if you venerate it because the lord of mankind has touched it.

That cross is lost but every time we see something similar it reminds us of that cross.

Then why you do you not venerate the graves, for a grave once contained your lord?

Truly, times are hard and the church in the name of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) just made it harder. They supported a Goodluck Jonathan presidency. I was thinking it was all based only on religious sentiments. Little did I know it oils the palms of the pastors. The vicious cycle of poverty is sustained with an incompetent president like Jonathan. The poorer people are, the more they flock to churches, the more the pastor-dollars. All we used to know was petro-dollars but as the BBC captured it, Pastors rival oil-tycoons in Nigeria.

Time for some sober reflection. While some silly die-hards have read this to mean greater bounties from the Lord (which lord anyway? God, Jesus or the Pastor?), people of sound intellect did see through their tearful eyes, and were able to decipher the corporate fraud this people revel in. I don’t have to tell you anymore about their fake miracles. I don’t have to tell you about their rip-off programs, but I have to tell you to use your intuition.

While this megachurch business is growing in the impoverished lands of Sub Saharan Africa, representing the growth of Christianity; it is also the only BRAND of Christianity growing in the west too. Note the word ‘brand’. A corporate marque. Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, Ted Haggard etc. This brand is the last straw (together with blind conservative nationalism) sustaining Christianity in the West, in the face of the phenomenal growth of Islam and of course, atheism. People are disenfranchised with Christianity, now they are deluded with the megachurch gimmick. For instance, The Telegraph reported on November,22nd 2002 that the Church of England “gave its official blessings to alternative forms of youth worship such as ‘raves in the nave’ as part of its effort to attract young people into church”. This however led to incidents like the notorious episodes of the “nine o’clock service” in Sheffield, which “was closed down after allegations of improper relations between the clergyman and female members of the congregation.”

The riches from this industry is staggering. Some may argue that they give to charity. I can’t help but shake my head at your naivety. A clear case of robbing Peter to pay Paul. What job did the pastor take up that made him that fortune with which he ‘helps’ the poor? Tithes, offerings, miracles, charms….???

Why was Adeboye’s name missing?

That leads me to explore the life of a man called Joel Osteen. He bears a striking similarity to Adeboye. Joel Osteen didn’t found his megachurch; instead the business was handed down to him by his father. Adeboye inherited his boss’. While, Osteen was named the “Most Influential Christian in America” in 2006 by the Church Report, and was one of Barbara Walters, “10 Most Fascinating People of 2006, Adeboye was named in the 2008 Newsweek Top 50 global elites. The atrocities of this man are wrapped in a bogus humility, mesmerizing a lot of followers to lose their heads in dealing with such a phony character.
These churches run universities which are funded by the contributions of gullible adherents who yet can not afford the exhorbitant fees charged as tuition. Oyedepo, like Joel Osteen has been a prolific author. He churns out many books which are mopped up by his followers. He has been quoted times over as proclaiming: “Your financial revolution is tied to what you do with your finances on the gospel.” Of course we all know what that translates into. Oyakhilome too has his ‘Rhapsody of Realities’ which brings him rhapsodies of dollars month in month out.
In 2005,Ashimolowo was ordered to repay £200,000 after revelations that he used church assets to buy a £13,000 Florida Times share and £120,000 on his birthday celebrations, including £80,000 on a car. New trustees were appointed and Ashimolowo was removed from his role as chief executive. He didn’t wait behind to defend himself, he ran home to Nigeria. After finding a way about that, the business is so large that he can afford to employ a certain James McGlashan, a former oil executive as the church’s Chief Operating Officer.
Yet, some still argue that this industry should not pay taxes.
These people are rich and powerful, and are really accountable to no one. This is the best business you can ever run. Think about it…They have the best protection scheme ever devised going. You have to give 10% of everything you make to them, or you get kicked out and of course end up going to hell. Our people here might not have had enough share of major sex scandals, drug scandals or molestation scandals like the American megachurch pastors: Pat Robertson, Al Sharpton, Ted Haggard, Paul Barnes, D.E. (Earl) Paulk, Jimmy Swaggert, Jim Bakker, William Dodd and too many others to possibly mention here, but you can be sure they are notable competitors in the art of dirty dealings involving money and flesh. Years back, news got around that a follower of Chris Oyakhilome donated a power generating set worth 25 Million Naira to a branch of his church. This proceed was discovered to be from stolen funds of the Sheraton Hotels and Towers. This was revealed in the statement given to the police by the accused who claimed that the money went Oyakhilome’s way.
