The bible records:
“One came and said unto him, Good Master,
what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And
he (Jesus) said unto him, Why callest thoume good? There is
none good but one, that is, God.
But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.”
This excerpt is found in the King James’ version of the bible and not in any other.
It is universally known that the one that is considered All Good is God.More informatively, Jesus went ahead to deny the attribution of goodness to himself. He said:“there is none good but one, that is, God.” Jesus acknowledged the existence of a supreme being who has the attribute of Goodness unique to Him.Jesus explicitly pointed out that “if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.”He could have commanded the questioner to believe in him(Jesus) as his Lord and personal saviour. But did he?
Note that other versions out of the numerous ones available distort this verse in order to make way for the deviant doctrine of the lordship of Christ.
If jesus were God, he wouldn’t deny the appellation: Good. For it is known that God is good, anything that is part of HIm too must be good. If Jesus is really a part of the polytheistic god heads code-named the trinity, he wouldn’t run from admittig being good.
Two situations come up.
1.All things that are part of or from God is good. Jesus is good as that disciple of his felt. But a kid knows his mum more than any other person. He emphatically denied being the good.
2. It is possibble to get a bad thing from a good one or vice versa.(The property of emergence e.g Common salt is edible while its constituent salts,Sodium and Chlorine are not)Jesus is not good or may not be good. That which will never be acceptable to any believer.
None of the above situations is possible, there has to be another option. Conclusion: Jesus isn’t part of God.He exists seperately like all other creations of God.He is good, in a way that is inferior to that of the only Good, God.
